Is the Zune HD the new iPod killer or is it a relatively unsung player from South Korea? What makes an MP3 player great? Is it the price point? The storage capacity? Battery Life? Any of these are good criteria alone but who makes the best MP3 player when all of these are taken into consideration?
Choosing the best MP3 player
Here is a question I asked himself all the time, “who is doing the best MP3 player?” Well, that’s not the easiest question to answer. There are several factors to consider when it comes to review these little guys, price, space, ease of use, battery life, sound quality, supported media types and reliability mind immediately. Probably the best way to answer this question is to some of the options and to seek their respective strengths and weaknesses.
Is the IPod the best MP3 player?
Always if you “Who produced the best MP3 player” question, there is a compulsory reference to the Apple iPod series. This remained some which have a very serious competitor in the market first personal digital audio players on the market and through its many incarnations. What makes ease is mixed the iPod one of the best MP3 players around with elegant style. There are currently four different iPod models available, the Nano, shuffle of the classic and the touch offers anywhere from 15 to 40 hours of audio playback time. iPods can cost from $49 to $399 depending on model and in particular storage product information anywhere. The big advantage for the Apple iPod is the iTunes store with its massive music selection and ease its sync system, a plug and play download experience. Nano and touch are consistently in the top seller list at Amazon.com and offer exceptional sound quality for a portable device.
The Zune HD may be the best MP3 player
For the die-hard Apple haters out there the Microsoft Zune HD offers up a fierce IPod rival. The Zune HD comes with a built in HD Radio receiver, and out performs the IPod Touch in both battery life and charging time. The Zune HD also has an Apps store and can connect wirelessly to the internet. The audio quality is above average and the video touch screen (OLED) is far more brilliant than those offered by the iPod’s LCD touchscreen. The price point is on par with the Apple iPod Classic and Touch appearing between $199(16GB) and $349 (64GB). So if you were to ask an Apple hater who makes the best MP3 player it’s a good bet they will answer the Zune HD.
A relative unknown, the Cowon S9
Those who have high-quality supply of recognition (like me) will the Cowon S9 probably. Cowon is a South Korean company for high quality audio and these players fail to deliver. The audio files can not apart fall at high volume no cracks or compress the audio space. It comes with an AMOLED display is similar to the iPod touch, but one incredible 55 hours audio playback! The S9 pivot also has Bluetooth headphones ability and car display. The only pitfalls on this player into the operating system not intuitive for Western users and the fact that it comes only with a 16 GB storage capacity come (thats only 4100 songs). The price of Amazon.com is only $179.99 place them below the ZuneHD and iPod touch. In my opinion the best makes today Cowon MP3 player on the market for the price.
