Revolutionary Update of Freemake Video Converter

Software, by Albel.
Freemake.com has announced the release of Freemake Video Converter Version 1.3 — an enhanced version of the popular free video converter loaded with new features. The enhancements, designed to give video makers more control over their video creation, include:

- An integrated preset editor that provides total control over the output result with the ability to customize conversion parameters. In Freemake V1.3, video makers can establish video and audio codecs, frame size, frame rate, sample size, and sample rate — and then save the custom preset for future use.

- New output types including SWF, MKV, and MPEG allow users to convert videos for web pages and Power Point presentations (SWF), convert to MKV (a modern, flexible, extensible, cross-platform multimedia container), or to prepare videos for multimedia devices supporting MPEG. The new outputs are in addition to existing output options of video, audio, photo, and DVD.

- New ready-made presets for Apple, Sony, and Android devices. V1.3 allows users to convert video for the iPod Classic, iPod Touch, iPod Nano, iPod 5G, iPhone, iPad, Sony PSP, PS2, PS3, BlackBerry, Xbox, Apple TV, Android mobile devices, and other popular smartphones.

- The ability to establish a maximum output size for video files. V1.3 also allows video makers to select between one-pass and two-pass encoding, thus influencing the quality-speed ratio.

“Version 1.3 of the Freemake Video Converter was developed to address the lack of free multimedia conversion applications allowing users to manage output parameters. Following customers’ desires and suggestions, we increased the product’s functionality to work with multimedia files. With this release, we are proud to say that no other free converter gives such functions in one set!” said Kate Smith, PR manager of Freemake.com.

Despite the vast array of rich features, the Freemake Video Converter remains completely free of cost.

“We pride ourselves on designing free software without any limitations and that provide quality alternatives to paid products. Freemake is freeware in the truest sense of the word — no adware, no spyware, no online registration,” said Smith.
