Mini Mac

The Mac Mini (trademarked as Mac mini) is a small form factor desktop computer manufactured by Apple Inc. Like earlier Mini-ITX PC designs, it is uncommonly small for a desktop computer: 7.7 inches (19.7 cm) square and 1.4 inches (3.6 cm) tall. It weighs 3.0 pounds (1.37 kg) and models prior to 2010 used an external power supply. The Mac Mini is currently one of three desktop computers in the current Macintosh lineup, the other two being the iMac and Mac Pro.

If you forget a user name and password previously entered on your Mac mini device, enables Keychain Access tool that you forget to retrieve the login data. As part of the system, preferences, Keychain Access stores all your user names and passwords entered into applications or the Internet. Due to the Mac mini’s lack of a monitor, keyboard or mouse, requires this external devices, open the Keychain Access application.

1. Plug the Mac Mini’s power cable into the Mac Mini’s power port, and insert the opposite end of the cable into an electrical socket.
2. Plug the USB ends of your mouse and keyboard cables into USB ports on the back of the Mac Mini to connect to the computer.
3. Plug the HDMI end of the monitor’s cable into the HDMI port on your Mac Mini, and plug the monitor’s power cable into an electrical outlet and the power port on the monitor.
4. Push the “Power” button on the back of the Mac Mini and push the “Power” button on the monitor.
5. Log in to the Mac Mini and click “Go” on the menu bar at the top of the screen. Click “Utilities” on the submenu and hold “Control” on your keyboard and click “Keychain Access.”
6. Click “Open” on the shortcut menu to launch the Keychain Access application and click the “Passwords” tab in the Keychain Access side window.
7. Double-click the user name you wish to view in Keychain Access and click the “Show password” box.
8. Enter your administrator password in the pop-up dialog box and press the “Return” key to view the password for the user name you selected.
