This didn’t help because although the ipod is unlocked i can’t make a new one without knowing the old one.

I’m trying to get something off my friends i pod but she changed her password and won’t tell me what it is. I’ve been online til 1:30 in the morning trying to find a way to get in her i pod without the password but i don’t want to restore it or she’ll get pissed. Can i unlock it with out restoring it?

Disregard last post I figured it out sorry about that all I had to do was turn the file vault off… Again thank you for the advice you have no clue how much this has help me out… Truly a LIFE saver.
